75 Ball Bingo
One of the most popular types of Bingo played online is the 75 ball Bingo variety, that as you may have already guessed from its name has 75 Bingo balls in play.
The Bingo cards you will be using are slightly different from the 90 Ball Bingo variety in as much as they are divided into a grid, with five rows across and five rows down and therefore each ticket has 25 numbers up on it.
75 Ball Online Bingo
The popularity of 75 Ball Bingo has grown throughout the UK Online Bingo market over recent years but is traditionally played in America and Canada.
The 75 ball game is very similar to the 90 Ball Bingo game in the fact that you still need to buy Bingo cards or tickets that have all the numbers on them, in this case from 1-75.
The main difference is the fact that there are various Bingo Patterns that you’ll be expected to daub out before anyone else to claim Bingo.
The winner of the game will be the person who has successfully managed to cross off all of the squares in any of their 5 x 5 Bingo cards in the pattern that has been given for that individual game.
75 Ball Bingo Card
Bingo Patterns are the actual patterns that the crossed off numbers must make on your card so you can win.

If you play in the United States or Canada, you’ll be most accustomed to playing 75 Ball Bingo. It uses a Bingo card detailing five vertical rows and five horizontal rows with the letters B.I.N.G.O displayed across the top of each vertical column, this is important because the letters are used in the call.
75 Ball Bingo is called 75 Ball because– you guessed it, 75 numbers (from 1 to 75) is the maximum quantity of numbers that can be called during the game.
The Bingo card actually has just 24 used spaces and one free space. Random numbers are assigned vertically under each letter. For example, five numbers between 1 to 15 are allocated under the B column, numbers 16 to 30 under the I Column, numbers between 31 to 45 under N, 46 to 60 under G and finally, numbers between 61 to 75 under the O column. The dealer calls out the numbers as they are to appear in the relevant column e.g. “B15” or “N36” or “O75”.
Players mark each number called on their cards. However, the object of the game is to mark the numbers that form a pre-agreed Bingo pattern which is announced at the start of the game. It can be the traditional 1 line, 2 lines, Full House or Coverall, but there are lots of other patterns too, like Hangman, Explosion or Cornered.
The first player who completes the pattern shouts out “Bingo!” to indicate that he has won the game. The dealer confirms the win, and then a new game begins.
There are hundreds of possible patterns in 75 Ball Bingo. Among the most popular ones are a single line with five numbers that can be arranged vertically, horizontally or diagonally; a square; the number ‘8’; the letter “F”; the letter “E,” the letter “O” and a host of other patterns.
The most popular pattern is the “coverall” and tends to award the biggest cash prizes.
Compared to 90 Ball Bingo which is particularly popular in both the UK and Australia, 75 Ball Bingo is a faster paced game with the patterns making a game easier to complete.
